Welcome: 

Welcome to the Somerset Phoenix anonymous email service for parents/carers whose child/young person have experienced sexual abuse. The email service hopes to offer, a safe supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings regarding the impact of trauma on you and your family. The button links provided are there to enable you, if needed to access our safeguarding and emergency information and signposting information - we hope you find this helpful. 

How does our email service work? 

The anonymous email address somersetphoenixporject@gmail.com is for just this part of our service. We are a small team and will endeavour to respond to your email within 3 working phoenix days (we open Mon-Wed).The email is responded to by experienced professionals.

If your situation is an emergency or an escalating emergency please contact the relevant statutory services in your area such as social care and/or the police.

Each individual: 

- For some people writing an email can be difficult, please know we welcome you.  

Confidentiality: 

We will not share what you have said to us with anyone outside of the Somerset Phoenix Project team.

We will only break confidentiality if:

·   you request us to

·   you’ve given us identifying information, and you’re a vulnerable adult, and we’re concerned for your safety

·    or you are giving us identifying information about a child at risk.  We will discuss this with you first but as a service we follow safeguarding children and vulnerable adult’s legislation.
