Specialist trauma recovery work

The current wait for specialist support is 

12-18 months

It takes about 6 - 8 months to complete support sessions. We have 5 part time specialist support staff currenlty working with a total of 44 children and young people. There are a further 62 children and young people waiting for support.

Professional Consultation

If there is already a professional working with the child or young person who has a good relationship with them we can offer indirect specialist trauma recovery much sooner via professional consultation with that exisiting professional. Please opt for consultation on the top of the request form. For more details on what this process looks like please refer to the professional consultation page.

Counselling

The current wait for counselling after the assessment appointment is 

12 months

There are 18 young people waiting for counselling. There are 7 weekly slots and the support lasts between 9-12 months.
